Located in Red Deer, Alberta, this hotel was the first of the IHG formula blue brand design. Also the first dual Holiday Inn/Staybridge combo hotel constructed at different times. At the time of construction for the Holiday Inn, ownership had committed to the city of Red Deer to having this hotel open and operation in time for the winter games. An extremely tight timeline and out of the province, we were able to obtain the opening date, on time, on budget within 10 months of starting.
